It wasn’t the high-profile one many wanted, but Pittsburgh did trade for a center on Wednesday.

The Pens have acquired Florida’s Marcel Goc in exchange for a third- and fifth-round pick, according to Sportsnet. Goc, 30, has spent the last three years with the Panthers and is in the midst of a decent campaign, racking up 11 goals and 23 points in 62 games while averaging close to 18 minutes per night.
