Dan Bylsma To Meet With Panthers This Week


Former Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma was just fired by the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday, the same day they introduced and replaced him with new general manager Jim Rutherford. But from the looks of it, Bylsma might not be out of a job for long.

No, not by NHL Network, although he was just asked to return to broadcast Game 3 for them as studio analyst. We’re talking another head coaching position: the Florida Panthers, as Harvey Fialkov of the Sun-Sentinel tweets:

Panthers general manager told Damien Cox of the Toronto Star that he has already spoken with Bylsma, so there appears to be a spark here. But these are just talks and nothing more yet.
