The Tennessee Titans announced Friday morning that they have hired longtime Tampa Bay Buccaneers trainer Todd Toriscelli as their new director of sports medicine.
Toriscelli had been with the Buccaneers for 17 years, including four spent as the director of sports medicine and performance, and 13 as the team’s head athletic trainer.
Last season, a report from FOX Sports speculated that Toriscelli was linked to the MRSA outbreak that infected three players.
The Bucs denied that any staff members had been infected.
Toriscelli reunites with Titans GM Ruston Webster from 1998 to 2005 when Webster a front office executive in Tampa.
