This morning I joined Eric Lopez on Sports Talk 1040 (Tampa Bay) and 1080 (Orlando) to recap this week’s Monday Night Football game between the Bucs and the Miami Dolphins and to preview this weekend’s matchup between the Bucs and the Atlanta Falcons.
The Bucs aren’t breathing a sigh of relief after the team’s first win because they recognize there is a lot of ground to be made up. At this point, the best the Bucs can hope for is .500, which would be one win better than last season when they finished 7-9.
We talked about Tampa Bay’s situation at running back with all of the injuries and how some unsung heroes have played a big part in the transition from Doug Martin to Mike James to Brian Leonard and Bobby Rainey without there being too much of a drop in production.
We talked about how injuries at wide receiver have limited the passing game and how Mike Glennon looks to take more shots down the field to keep opposing defenses honest.
