What Will The Jaguars Do At No. 33?

The Jacksonville Jaguars hold the first pick in the second round of the NFL Draft, coverage will start tonight at 6:30 p.m., and are reportedly shopping the pick. That does not mean anyone will want it, however.

CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora reports that the Jags could take a defensive back, if they cannot move out of the pick.

According to Darin Gantt of ProFootballTalk, the New York Jets could be looking to move up to take West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith, and the Jaguars could be a potential trading partner.

“Of course, the Jaguars are waving the 33rd pick around trying to get attention as well, which creates some supply-and-demand issues the Jets and other QB-needy teams will be weighing.”
