Two Jags Starters On PUP List At Camp Open

Two young starters are among the Jacksonville Jaguars who will open training camp on the physically unable to perform list.

Jacksonville announced that rookie strong safety Johnathan Cyprien, a second-round pick this year, will open camp on PUP. Last year’s frist-round pick, receiver Justin Blackmon, is also on PUP.

Blackmon is recovering from groin surgery, and having to open camp on the PUP list is another disappointment in an offseason that also saw him get a four-game suspension for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.
