Michael Dirocco of ESPN reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars had offensive tackle Jake Matthews in for a visit last Thursday and could be targeting the former Texas A&M standout with the No. 3 overall pick in next month’s draft.
If this happens, it’ll be the second consecutive year they select an offensive tackle in the top three. The Jaguars took Luke Joeckel, who also played at Texas A&M, with the No. 2 pick in 2013.
Quarterback, pass-rusher and receiver are their most dire needs — not offensive tackle. Regardless, if they do bring Matthews in, he could solidify that line even more.
