Who’s Naughty and Who’s Nice?

Nikola Vucevic: Nice
As nice as Nik Vucevic has been playing this season the Magic will deeply miss him as he is sidelined for some time with a broken bone in his left index finger. Now when he has been healthy, the big man has put up nearly a double-double with 17.8 points and 9.6 rebounds a game. His production will be difficult to replace.

Terrance Ross: Naughty
Not that it is his fault, but Ross has been somewhat of a letdown this season. Ross is only averaging 9 points a game this season despite starting 22 contests. Another thing working against Ross is his health. Ross has been out since late November when he injured his knee and it’s unclear when he’ll be making his return.

Bismack Biyombo: Naughty
Brought in or his defense and rim protecting ability Bismack Biyombo has been rather disappointing this season. Biyombo is averaging just over 15 minutes a game and has failed to really make an impact. He is also averaging 3 fewer rebounds than last season for the Magic.

Aaron Gordon: Nice
Gordon is another one of Orlando’s player who has been bitten by the injury bug this season. However, he has been a beast when he has been available. This season Gordon has picked up his offensive game and is averaging over 18 pints a game, which is nearly double his production from last year. Gordon has also increased his rebound total to 8 rebounds a game.

Jonathon Simmons: Nice
Simmons is another rising star for the Magic, who has exceeded expectations going into this season. Simmons has thrived since being inserted into Orlando’s starting lineup and is now averaging over 15 points a game. He has even led the team in scoring multiple times as he is known to score in bunches.

Mario Hezonja: Naughty/Nice
Earlier this season I would say that Hezonja was easily on the naughty list as he resembled a draft bust. Lately though Hezonja has stepped up his gave as he has been give more playing time due to injuries. He even dropped a career high 28 points against Detroit and has averaged double digits in his last 4 games.
