While Aaron Rodgers Is Iffy, Garrett Won’t Rule Out Romo

Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett says Tony Romo hasn’t been ruled out of Sunday’s game at Philadelphia after injuring his back during Sunday’s win at Washington. Garrett says Romo underwent an MRI Monday and will continue to receive treatment and undergo further evaluation.
Romo was hurt during the Cowboys’ next-to-last series in a 24-23 win over the Redskins. He came back for the next series and threw a game-winning touchdown pass to DeMarco Murray with 1:08 remaining.
Kyle Orton would be the starting quarterback for Sunday’s game against the Eagles for the NFC East title. Garrett says the team is looking for a No. 3 quarterback.
Meanwhile, Packers coach Mike McCarthy isn’t sure if quarterback Aaron Rodgers will start the team’s winner-take-all NFC North matchup against the Bears in Chicago on Sunday. McCarthy says the team wants to make a decision on Rodgers’ availability “sooner than later.” Rodgers has missed the Packers’ last seven games since fracturing his left collarbone against the Bears at Lambeau Field on Nov. 4.
