PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) — A steady stream of rain has been falling during the second round at the PGA Championship in suburban Rochester, N.Y., and it’s been heavy at times. The showers are expected to extend through the morning with a slight chance of a thundershower. The rain could make the Oak Hill Country Club course attackable, as it was yesterday.

Overnight co-leader Adam Scott is now alone atop the leaderboard with a pair of biridies through five holes. That leaves him at 7-under par.

Lee Westwood had his string of 25 straight bogey-free holes broken with one on his eighth hole of the day, the 17th. That came after he scored a pair of birdies. Westwood is 5-under and tied with Jim Furyk (FYOOR’-ihk), who tees off this afternoon.

Jason Day is 4-under par through nine holes.

Phil Mickelson has one birdie in six holes at is even par, seven shots off the lead.
