Fox’s coverage of Super Bowl XLVIII in less than three weeks and that means the buzz about the ads are begining to start.
This year a :30 second ad will go for $4 million dollars per spot.
For a number of years Super Bowl ads were kept very, very quiet. The goal was to hide them away from viewers so that after the big game there would be a buzz about the ad that stole the show.
However, over the past few years sponsors have leaked their ads to different websites and they found out that fans would actually tune to watch their favorite ad spots.
Facebook and Twitter have helped grow social media and allowing fans to see the spots before they air in the game is a very smart plan by sponsors .
Scarlett Johansson is getting a Super Bowl ad on behalf of SodaStream home carbination machines. Jaguar wants you very much to keep an eye out for Ben Kingsley and two more “British Villains.” Stephen Colbert will make his Super Bowl debut for Wonderful Pistachios. And David Beckham will hawk H&M in the Super Bowl’s first shoppable ad. And if you want the complete list of sponsors for the game click here.
