Vincent Jackson: "I Think We're Ahead of the Curve"
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson spoke to the media after Sunday's training camp practice, where he talked about everything from learning Jeff Tedford's offense to his relationship with quarterback Josh McCown and using that back-shoulder fade to their advantage. He also talked about rookie wide receiver Mike Evans, his progression and if he sees some of himself in No. 13.
Im excited. Its going well. Training camp is obviously a time for us to clean up, sharpen everything weve worked on this offseason. Pretty much three months April, May, June installing the system. Now its time to really crank it up, start defining different positions, getting guys in locations where we have different advantages and getting in a good rhythm. Im excited where were at right now. I think were ahead of the curve for being a new offense with a lot of new guys together. I think were doing good.
