EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings may be changing quarterbacks. Again.
Josh Freeman reported concussion-like symptoms Tuesday afternoon, coach Leslie Frazier said Wednesday, adding that it’s “more than likely” Christian Ponder will start Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers.
Freeman made his Vikings debut in Monday night’s loss to the New York Giants and failed to tell Frazier that he felt off after a hit in the third quarter.
When asked if Ponder could can hold on the starting job if he plays well, Frazier said, “Obviously, we want Christian to have a great game on Sunday night[.] We’ll deal with whatever comes after that.”
