USF’s Rudd Named to American Honor Roll
TAMPA, FEB. 24, 2014 – For the fifth time this season, USF men’s basketball senior Victor Rudd was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll after his performance at No. 11 Louisville.
The Los Angeles native scored a season-high 27 points against the Cardinals on Tuesday and brought down 10 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the season. Rudd was 11-of-17 from the field which tied a season high for field goals made.
Rudd, whose 15.3 points per game ranks ninth in the conference and 6.8 rebounds per game ranks eighth, was joined on the honor roll by Sean Kilpatrick (Cincinnati), Shabazz Napier (UConn), Shaq Goodwin (Memphis) and Nic Moore (SMU). Louisville’s Montrezl Harrell was named player of the week while Austin Nichols of Memphis was named rookie of the week.
The Bulls (12-15, 3-11) host UConn (21-6, 9-5) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on CBSSN.
