USC’s All American WR Status is Questionable

marqise_lee_2013 [1]When USC takes the field for the first time since the dismissal of Lane Kiffin on Thursday night against Arizona , the team may do so without All-American wide receiver Marqise Lee in the lineup.

Lee suffered a sprained knee in the 62-41 loss to Arizona State, and interim coach Ed Orgeron said Monday that Lee’s status for the game against the Wildcats is “very questionable.”

The Trojans’ wide receiver told reporters last week that he was “getting better daily” and seemed hopeful to play against Arizona with a bye week to aid in his return. Lee’s absence puts even more pressure on Nelson Agholor, one of the few truly healthy scholarship wide receivers on the roster.
