Upshall A Healthy Scratch, Bergenheim To Make Season Debut

Panthers_Scottie_Upshall_1Upshall looks to be a healthy scratch for the second time in the last five games tonight against Buffalo, according to the Miami Herald.

The decision to drop Upshall paves the way for Sean Bergenheim who hasnt played for the Panthers since Apr. 2012 to make his season debut.

But back to Upshall for a moment.

The 30-year-old winger, in the third year of a four-year, $14 million deal, finds himself mired in Kevin Dineens doghouse. The oft-injured Upshall has just one assist through nine games this year, posting a minus-5 rating while averaging just 12:27 per game.
