Update: Jones Speaks on Suspension
Thursday afternoon, UCF Men’s Basketball Head Coach addressed his university imposed three game suspension due to NCAA allegations. He also cleared up the status of five UCF student-athletes that sat out last week’s exhibition game.
A.J. Rompza remains out as the NCAA decides on his eligibility while Jeff Jordan was just cleared to play in the season opener against St. Thomas on Saturday. Marcus Jordan, P.J. Gaynor, and Josh Crittle will continue to sit due to violation of an unspecified team rules. A timeline for their return is unknown.
After Jones’ time with the media, interim athletic director Admiral Al Harms also spoke, addressing his new role and where UCF goes from here.
