Next Friday, UCF will travel up to face No. 8 Louisville and Heisman Trophy candidate Teddy Bridgewater. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. and the game will air on ESPN. The contest steps right up as the next “biggest game ever” of the young season, but the matchup holds more weight than either of the previous two high-profile games.
“Coach said this is for all the marbles, mostly because they’re a top team,” said UCF linebacker Terrance Plummer, who was named the American defensive player of the week for his two-interception, one-sack performance against Memphis. “We’re trying to be the top team. . . . It’s a big game because it’s the next game, but they’re at the top of the conference right now and we need to take them down. That’s why this is so big.”
