UCF took a break from conference play Tuesday night and hosted Georgia Southwestern at the UCF Arena. The Knights won 65-50, but the game wasn’t as easy as it was supposed to be.
UCF (19-9, 8-5 C-USA) led modestly at half time, 23-16 over the Hurricanes (12-14). The Knights blew the game open in the second half, going on a 20-0 run to take a commanding lead.
Kasey Wilson led the run and finished with a team-leading 20 points, hitting five of his seven three-point attempts.
The Knights will get back to conference play Saturday when it hosts Memphis for its final home game of the season.
