U.S. Open, NBA and Stanley Cup Finals headline the weekend viewing

Well as sports television weekends go this one is a keeper. We have one of golf’s majors the U.S. Open, then there is game two of the Stanley Cup Finals between Chicago and Boston.
Lest we forget, there is a huge game 5 as San Antonio faces Miami in the NBA Finals.
Quick hits on where to find things:
Friday – U.S Open on ESPN 8:30 a.m. till 3p.m. when things move over to NBC for a two hour window from 3 p.m. till 5 p.m. Then from 5 p.m. till the second round ends weather permitting it is live on ESPN till at least 7:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday all of the action will be on NBC starting at noon and lasting till the rounds are over.
Saturday night 8 p.m. on NBC Sports Network will be game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals. We have Chicago hosting Boston leading the best of seven series 1-0 after a triple overtime 4 – 3 win Wednesday night.
Sunday night 8 p.m. on ABC it will be the critical game 5 of the NBA Finals. The Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs are tied at 2 games each. The game Sunday night will take place in San Antonio and really is a must win for the Spurs because game 6 and if needed game will take place back in Miami.
Baseball the Rays host the Royals with all three games on Sun Sport. Nationally, Fox Saturday Night Baseball has the Yankees playing host to the Angeles. Airtime is 7 p.m. Sunday Afternoon on TBS it is the Dodgers at the Pirates at 1:30 p.m. and Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN starts at 8 p.m. as the Braves hosts the Giants.
NASCAR the Nationwide series is in Michigan for this weeks race starting at 2 p.m. on ABC. Sunday it is the Sprint Cup race is the Quicken Loans 400, live from Michigan International Speedway. The fine team at TNT will handle the broadcast duties at 1 p.m.
The IndyCar series will be in Wisconsin for one the entertaining stops on the series the Milwaukee IndyFest. The race will get underway Saturday at 4 p.m. on NBC Sports Network.
Last but not least for soccer fans there will be some good Confederation Cup games will be played. Brazil faces Japan Saturday afternoon 2:30 p.m. on ESPN and also Univision. Then Sunday it will be Mexico taking on Italy again at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN and Univision.
