Dolphins’ Pouncey, Moreno Having Surgery
Miami Dolphins Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey underwent hip surgery Monday and is expected to miss at least three months, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, while running back Knowshon Moreno will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery this week and miss four to five weeks.
The team is hoping to have Moreno back in time for preseason but Pouncey is said to be out for the rest of the 2014 season.
Pouncey tore the labrum in his hip sometime during the Dolphins’ OTA sessions. With him being gone, it will shake up an offensive line that was transformed this offseason.
