Tuck: 2013 NBA Free Agents
This is not a great free agent class coming up this summer. There are just a couple franchise players, and a handful of 10-digit annual salary players on the market. This is a class especially heavy in the front court spots.
Teams with a lot of money to spend: Cleveland, Atlanta, Charlotte, Detroit, Milwaukee, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Toronto, Golden State, Minnesota, Sacramento, Orlando, Denver, Phoenix, LA Clippers, Portland, Indiana, and San Antonio. Those teams range from about $40 million to spend down to about $10 million. Many of these teams may try to resign their own players, and many may weight for 2014 to spend money with a more stacked class of players.
This is not the complete list by any means, but these are the guys whose names you need to know, and the order I’d rank them in as far as value.
