Tony Romo Claims He’s Like Montana And Aikman
Tony Romo is certain he’ll come back from back surgery without complications, and he’s using historical precedent to support his claim. Romo compared his surgery to ones had by other quarterbacks…hall of fame quarterbacks…back in their 30’s.
“I’ll be able to play for a while,” Romo said during an NFL Network interview, via the Dallas Morning News. “There are way too many cases where you see people come back; Troy Aikman had it – they won a Super Bowl the same season. Joe Montana comes back and wins two Super Bowls. They had the same surgery.”
But there is a possibility they were better quarterbacks than Romo entering the operating room…
