Tigers Bring Joba Chamberlain To Detroit
Chamberlain’s deal is worth $2.5MM and contains performance bonuses, according to Olney (on Twitter).
The Tigers have agreed to sign right-hander Joba Chamberlain, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (Twitter link). Yahoo’s Tim Brown tweeted yesterday that Detroit was a potiential landing spot for Chamberlain, and ESPN’s Buster Olney reported today (via Twitter) that the Tigers’ interest was “serious.” Chamberlain is represented by Jim Murray of Excel Sports Management.
