Steven Stamkos Looking At February 6th Return

Posted By Sports Talk Florida On December 4, 2013 @ 7:47 AM In Florida News,NHL | No Comments

It sounds like Steven Stamkos is on track to play in the 2014 Winter Olympics despite breaking his tibia on Nov. 11, as TSN’s Darren Dreger reports [1] that the Tampa Bay Lightning sniper is targeting a Feb. 6 game against the Toronto Maple Leafs as his return date.

He’s ahead of schedule. He’s targeting February 6 against the Tornoto Maple Leafs as his expected date of return. He’s working out on a daily basis, riding a bike, and core training. He’s going to work out exclusively with Gary Roberts over the Christmas break and then he’ll kick it in to high gear and do two-a-day training in January.
