Stephen Curry Makes NBA History
Last season, Stephen Curry did something we had never seen before. He hit 272 3-pointers in a single season, breaking Ray Allen’s previous record of 269. He accomplished that by making a ridiculous 45.3 percent from downtown to set the record with the utmost efficiency.
While he didn’t quite scorch the nets in the same way we saw last season, Curry once again made history with his outside shooting. With 24 seconds left in the second quarter of an overtime loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, the Golden State Warriors’ star knocked down a 3-pointer off of a Harrison Barnes pass to become the first player in NBA history to hit at least 250 3-pointers in consecutive seasons.
