Though the Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t select a quarterback in the 2014 NFL Draft, they did add one afterwards.
The club announced Saturday it had reached agreements with 10 undrafted free agents, including Cincinnati quarterback Brendon Kay, who completed 262-of-395 passes for 3,302 yards with 22 s touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 2013 for the Bearcats.
The Steelers also agreed with the following undrafted free agents: Stanford defensive back Devon Carrington and defensive end Josh Mauro, Youngstown State offensive lineman Chris Elkins, Wisconsin defensive end Ethan Hemer, UAB offensive tackle Kaycee Ike, Shepherd linebacker Howard Jones, Louisville defensive tackle Roy Philon, East Carolina offensive guard Will Simmons and Missouri tight end Eric Waters.
The team will hold its rookie minicamp from Friday, May 16 through Sunday, May 18.
