Staubach Says He’d Draft Manziel Over Clowney
If Roger Staubach were on the clock with the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft, there’s no doubt in his mind that he’d take quarterback Johnny Manziel over defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.
The Pro Football Hall of Famer, who was taken as a 10th round future pick in the 1964 draft by the Dallas Cowboys, thinks Manziel will have the same impact as a certain Super Bowl-winning quarterback.
