Stamkos Expected to Play in Game 4
Even though Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos suffered a minor head injury in Sunday night’s playoff game against Montreal, he said that he expects to play in Game 4 on Tuesday when the Bolts try to bounce back from a 3-0 first-round series deficit.
Stamkos did not give specifics on his current symptoms after leaving Sunday’s game in the second period after being hit in the head by the knee of Alexei Emelin. He left the ice and later returned at the start of the third period and finished the game.
