Spurs Hope To Exploit Home Edge Next 3 Games
SAN ANTONIO (AP)— The scene for the NBA Finals shifts to the Alamo City for the next three games with San Antonio and Miami tied a at a game apiece following the Heat’s 103-94 blowout victory Sunday night in Miami.
The Heat are 3-22 in their existence in San Antonio. That includes a victory there late in this year’s regular schedule when Miami won despite resting regulars LeBron James, Dwyane (dwayn) Wade and Mario Chalmers.
The Spurs are trying to get more production from their veteran All-Star center Tim Duncan, who has made just 11 of 32 shots in the first two games of the Finals. Duncan was 3 of 13 from the field while scoring nine points in Sunday night’s loss.
Following tonight’s game, San Antonio also gets the home-court advantage in Game 4 Thursday night and Game 5 Sunday night.
