ROWDIES MAKE FAN ENHANCEMENTS FOR 2013 NASL SEASON
TAMPA, Fla (March 29, 2013) — The Tampa Bay Rowdies have made fan enhancements at Al Lang Stadium for the 2013 NASL Season. Improving the fan experience is a priority as the team defends their 2012 NASL Championship.
The most visible change is the new field configuration, as the pitch will run from North to South. The East-side Beer Garden will feature a unique in-game hospitality experience, and the stadium will feature field-side seats right next to the player benches.
Another visible change is the new Rowdies branded signage around the stadium, including the box office area and the main concourse areas. The look and feel of AL Lang Stadium has been tailored to the Rowdies iconic look and its historic tradition. The club has worked closely with Dunn&Co over the off-season to create a new energy and feel to Al Lang Stadium that reflects the Rowdies image and brand.
A significant addition to the game day experience for the fans will be the expansion of the beer selection. Goose Island IPA, Sweetwater 420, Victory Headwater Pale Ale, and Florida Ave. Ale will be available along with the core Budweiser, Bud Light and Corona. Fun mixed drinks will also be available to provide even more options for our fans.
Many of the new fan enhancements will be unveiled this Saturday, March 30 prior to the second leg of the I-4 Derby Presented by United World Soccer against Orlando City. However, the final upgrades to the stadium will be revealed at the NASL Spring Season home opener on Saturday, April 6 against the Carolina RailHawks. The Rowdies will unveil the 2012 Championship Banner in front of the fans that helped make the championship-winning season possible.
