The deposed starter (who will watch Case Keenum start this week) admitted that he’s not a fan of coach Gary Kubiak’s decision to replace him.
“As a player and as a competitor, I don’t like it,” Schaub said, via Brian Smith of the Houston Chronicle.
Schaub’s hard-to-believe run of four games with an interception returned for a touchdown (and nine total picks) were just part of the Texans problems, but when you’re a quarterback, most of the blame falling on you is part of the deal.
But if Schaub can’t return to that level, the Texans can’t afford to give him many more chances.
