Sabres Ryan Miller Trade Talks Heat Up
Nick Kypreos of Sportsnet reports the Sabres are considering moving the goaltender, who’s been the No. 1 in Buffalo for the past eight seasons. His lackluster numbers this season are more due to a poor defensive unit rather than a drop off in play.
If the Sabres are indeed looking to move Miller, doing it this season would be the right way to go. He’s a free agent after next season. Teams aren’t going to give up nearly as much for a rental player as they would for a player of his caliber right now.
