UNDATED (AP) — Alex Rodriguez says he’s cutting off all non-baseball talk after a wild weekend of accusations and retaliations on and off the field. The three-time MVP says he wants to put the focus solely on baseball while the Yankees make a push for a spot in the playoffs.
Over the weekend, Rodriguez said he asked the players’ union to file a grievance over his medical treatment. MLB responded by challenging him to make public the evidence that led to the 211-game suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs.
