Griffin said he was able to practice at full speed and saw no reason at all that he won’t be the starter on Sunday at Philadelphia after missing last week’s game against the Browns with a knee injury.
“I was able to go through a practice, so that was good and I felt good,” Griffin said. “I’m ready to play.”
Of course, Griffin thought he was ready to play last week, and the team overruled him. So it’s possible that he won’t be able to go no matter how ready he feels, and Griffin acknowledged that “it is frustrating” that the medical and coaching staffs might hold him out even though he wants to play.
