Report: Former Bucs QB Josh Freeman to Work with Jon Gruden
Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman will try to get his career back on track by calling on the likes of another former Buccaneer — Super Bowl-winning coach Jon Gruden.
According to Gil Brandt of NFL.com, Freeman will work with Gruden next week and quarterback guru Terry Shea, who has worked with Robert Griffin III, Sam Bradford, Matt Stafford and Brady Quinn.

Freeman had signed with the New York Giants earlier this offseason after starting quarterback Eli Manning underwent ankle surgery.
Manning returned to action rather quickly, and Freeman was released five weeks after signing, at the end of May.
Prior to that, he spent 13 weeks of the 2013 season with the Minnesota Vikings, seeing action in one game, a 23-7 loss to the Giants.
At 26, Freeman still has plenty of gas left in the tank, but he’s gone through three teams in eight months, meaning he may not get many chances to resurrect his career as a starter, if any.
