REPORT: Chris Bosh Would Prefer Four-Year Max Deal
Miami Heat fans should not overreact to any news regarding their big three considering this time a few years back Dwayne Wade was "close" to signing with the Chicago Bulls, no one knew where Lebron James was going and Chis Bosh was an after thought. So news that Bosh is preferring a max four-year deal to leave the Heat shouldn't be met with panic.
CBS Sports Ken Berger is reporting that the longer James takes to make a decision the more we will hear about the Big Three breaking up.
It is clear that teams have James and free agent Carmelo Anthony at the top of their wish list, so once they sign a market will clear up for Bosh.
People have a tendency to forget that Bosh is a nine time All-Star, two time NBA champion and the Toronto Raptors all-time leading scorer. There are a few teams who would benefit from his unique skill set, like the Houston Rockets.
Adding Bosh to a squad with James Harden and Dwight Howard would form a solid big three, also giving Howard a stretch four that will help clear space in the post. Howard has thrived in the past with a stretch forward like Rashard Lewis and Ryan Anderson. Bosh would also add a championship pedigree to a franchise that is striving for one.
Bosh coming to the Heat along with James and Wade sacrificed his game the most, not to mention seems to get most of the blame and not enough praise.
The Rockets, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers have an eye on Bosh, and all are also in the hunt for James and Anthony.
Bosh has made it clear he wants to stay in Miami, but if James decides to leave I'm sure Bosh will bolt and sign elsewhere.
