Hector Noesi Almost Made Rangers History

Right-hander Hector Noesi flirted with an infamous spot in Texas Rangers lore on Sunday: he nearly pitched the worst single inning in franchise history.
Noesi entered for mop-up duty in the ninth inning and allowed seven runs in the 16-2 loss to the Chicago White Sox history. The club mark for most runs allowed in a single inning is eight.
Roger Pavlik (1995) and Mike ”Mo Man” Morgan (1999) share the dubious distinction with Hall of Famer Ferguson Jenkins (1980) as each did it during a start in which he did not finish the first inning.
