ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — The Tampa Bay Rays have activated designated hitter Luke Scott from the 15-day disabled list and optioned infielder Sean Rodriguez to Triple-A Durham.
The moves were announced before the Rays played Kansas City on Tuesday night.
Scott missed 28 games because of a strained right oblique.
