World Series VictoryWe’ve been running through some historic World Series moments now that we’re inside two weeks until the 2013 Fall Classic, so I figured let’s have a little more fun. Let’s rank the best World Series of all-time!

1. 2001: Diamondbacks over Yankees in seven: the emotional seven-game thriller in the shadows of 9/11.

2. 2011: Cardinals over Rangers in seven: the St. Louis Cardinals completing one of the most historic and unpredictable World Series runs in baseball history.

3. 1991: Twins over Braves in seven: “the Cinderella Series” with heroics from Kirby Puckett and Jack Morris.

4. 1997: Marlins over Indians in seven: the Game-7 walk-off hit in extra innings by Edgar Renteria.

5. 2002: Angels over Giants in seven: Anaheim, with a little help from the rally monkey of course, defeat Barry Bonds and the Giants to capture Anaheim’s first world championship.
