[1]INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – Ruben Amaro Jr. does not expect to make any moves before flying home from the general managers’ meetings on Friday morning, but that doesn’t mean his stay in this desert resort town wasn’t productive.
The Phillies’ GM believes he laid valuable groundwork for moves he must make this winter to get his team back to the playoffs.
“We had a lot of interesting conversations,” Amaro said late Thursday afternoon.
