PGA: Stallings the winner at Torrey Pines

Scott Stallings emerged from a crowded field with a birdie on the final hole Sunday, claiming the Farmers Insurance Open with a 4-under 68.Stallings finished the event at 9-under-par 279, edging ahead of a group of 10 competitors who each had a share of lead during the final round atTorrey Pines.

Second place at minus-8 was shared byK.J. Choi-- who fired the low round of the days at 6-under 66 -- Graham DeLaet (68), Jason Day (68),Pat Perez(70) and 2010 runner-upMarc Leishman(71).

Sharing seventh one shot further back wereCharley Hoffman(67),Will MacKenzie(70) andRyo Ishikawa(70).

Knotted for 10th place at minus-6 wereTrevor Immelman(69), Seung-Yul Noh (69), Justin Thomas (69), Brad Fritsch (71), third-round leader Gary Woodland (74) and Russell Knox (70).
