Paul Ranger Taken To Hospital For Precautionary Exam
With just 4.1 seconds to go in the first period of Wednesday’s evening contest between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs Paul Ranger was driven into the boards by Alex Killorn of the Bolts.
Ranger lay face down on the ice until he was removed on a stretcher and taken to a local hospital for precautionary reasons. According to the @LeafsPR twitter (LINK) he was stable, conscious, and alert.
