Orlando Magic’s Tobias Harris Injury Update
Orlando Magic’s forward Tobias Harris suffered a left high ankle sprain during the preseason. After weeks of recovery he returned to the court but was sidelined again because of discomfort. The original diagnosis on Harris was left high ankle sprain and second opinion confirmed the injury.
It is unclear when he will return, currently he is not on the 12 day roadtrip with the team. However, he could join the team on Friday when they play the New York Knicks.
Harris arrived in Orlando on Feb. 21, 2013 after the Magic traded J.J. Redick, Gustavo Ayon and Ish Smith for the Bucks’ Harris, Beno Udrih and Doron Lamb.
Prior to arriving in Orlando, Harris appeared in 70 career NBA regular season games, all with the Bucks, averaging 4.9 points per game (ppg.), and 2.3 rebounds per game (rpg.) in 11.5 minutes per game (minpg.) In Orlando, things changed for Harris, in th 27 games he appeared in he averaged 17.3 ppg., 8.5 rpg., 2.1 assists per game, 1.37 blocks per game in 36.1 minpg.
