Orlando Magic Beat Struggling Lakers 114-105
It was an impressive night for Harris, he had his first ever 20/20 game, scored a season high of 28 points and a career high of 20 rebounds.
“I do whatever I can for my team and just keep playing the right way night in and night out, keep being focused, and approach the game the same way every night,” said Harris after the game.
Teammate Victor Oladipo tallied 15 points, had five assists, two steals and had one block. The rookie was also very active on the defense as he grabbed a career high of 12 rebounds.
The Lakers fall to 16-28, as they continue to struggle with injuries among other things.
After the game Lakers’ guard Kendall Marshall said, “It is not just one thing so you can’t just hone in one thing defensively that we are doing wrong. It is across the board. We are not getting stops. We are giving up layups and second chance opportunities.”
Marshall finished the night with a double-double as he scored 19 points and made 14 assists. Pau Gasol led the Lakers with 21 points and 11 rebounds while Nick Young scored 16 points off the bench.
The Magic will travel to New Orleans, La. on Saturday and will take on the Pelicans Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. ET.
