The Edmonton Oilers didn’t just lose to the Dallas Stars on Tuesday, they also lost winger Ales Hemsky to an ankle injury.
The Oilers announced that Hemsky’s ankle is swollen, but on the bright side, the X-ray came back negative. It’s believed that the 30-year-old hurt himself blocking a shot during tonight’s 5-2 loss to the Stars.
Hemsky left the game with an ankle injury after blocking a shot. Coach Eakins says it's swollen but first X-Ray came back negative.
