Oakland Is Still Having Sewage Problems

Oakland_Coliseum_2013Something stinks in Oakland. So far this season, its not the football team that plays there.

For the second time in 2013, however, the baseball team that shares a stadium with the Raiders has experienced sewage problems in the building. Via Jorge L. Ortiz of USA Today, the term seventh-inning stretch acquired a very new and unwelcome meaning on Tuesday night.

In June, sewage invaded both clubhouses. Last night, it backed up into the dugout.

Theres no carpet down there [in the dugout], so its a little bit better, but its still pretty gross, As infielder Jed Lowrie said. Its kind of repulsive, honestly.
