Oakland Is Still Having Sewage Problems

Oakland_Coliseum_2013Something stinks in Oakland. So far this season, it?s not the football team that plays there.

For the second time in 2013, however, the baseball team that shares a stadium with the Raiders has experienced sewage problems in the building. Via Jorge L. Ortiz of USA Today, the term ?seventh-inning stretch? acquired a very new and unwelcome meaning on Tuesday night.

In June, sewage invaded both clubhouses. Last night, it backed up into the dugout.

?There?s no carpet down there [in the dugout], so it?s a little bit better, but it?s still pretty gross,? A?s infielder Jed Lowrie said. ?It?s kind of repulsive, honestly.?
