No Firm Timetable Yet For Davis’ Return
Glen Davis continues to recover from the broken bone in his left foot, but Orlando Magic general manager Rob Hennigan said in an interview published Tuesday that Orlando doesn’t “have a firm timetable yet” for Davis’ return to the floor.
Davis was Orlando’s second-leading scorer and rebounder when his feet became entangled with those of Iman Shumpert in the first quarter of a January loss to the New York Knicks, resulting in a fracture of the fifth metatarsal of his left foot. Hennigan says that Davis is “progressing slowly,” but that the pace of his recovery is intentional: “One thing that we want to make sure of is that when Glen does come back we don’t want him to re-aggravate that foot.”
