The investigation into the murder of a Dorchester man who has been linked to New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez continues, but no one has been arrested, and no warrants have been issued for anyone in connection with the murder, a law enforcement source said today.
“There are no arrest warrants issued,’’ said the source who has been briefed on the investigation into the slaying of Odin Lloyd. “For anyone.’’
The body of the 27-year-old Lloyd was found Monday in North Attleborough in an industrial park about a mile from Hernandez’s home.
A source told the Globe Thursday that Lloyd was shot multiple times at the scene. Criminal cases, including homicide cases, from the town of North Attleborough are heard in Attleboro District Court. Court officials there said today that neither State Police nor North Attleborough police have sought or obtained an warrant for the arrest of Hernandez.
UPDATE: An arrest warrant is being prepared, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
