The Florida Panthers, at 2-5-0, haven’t started the 2013 season as they had hoped. They’re fifth in the Atlantic, ahead of only Buffalo, and are staring at a -12 goal differential just seven games into the season.
Understandably, the Panthers are pulling out all the stops in order to increase attendance, even if that includes advertising to their opponent’s fans. The Panthers host the Bruins on Thursday night, but most of Boston’s loyal fan base will be fixated on game five of the ALCS, also tonight at 8 p.m. ET. To alleviate any concerns for the out-of-town-fans, the Panthers have guaranteed that they’ll televise the playoff game.
